Take new perks every even level, level up other perks every odd level. Not really fair is it? Also the Lonesome Road DLC lvl 50 perks would be unavailable, since you get your last perk on lvl 48 with the new/old model. For example when picking your first perk on lvl 3 you would only get to choose lvl 1 and lvl 2 perks, to get a lvl 4 perk you had to wait until lvl 6. There are 88 regular perks, 8 companion perks, 16 challenge perks and several other special perks Why are the changes in level requirements necessary? Basically the whole level requirement system was designed to provide you with new perks every 2nd level.
To counter how easy it was to max out the player's skills in Fallout 3, most of the skill-boosting perks have been removed or replaced. Unlike in Fallout 3, the Perk Rate in Fallout: New Vegas is one perk every two levels. It does not give retroactively, if you want to add the perks you missed you have to use console commands and the perk code.
This Mod gives you a perk every level from the time you activate it. This mod is not opted-in to receive Donation Points.
